We only live a simple life and I presently work in a call center but we could not make ends meet at this point in time since we are heavily in debt right now. I was jobless for a few … Continue reading →
My spirit was uplifted a lot when I got 50+ likes on the profile picture I posted in Facebook recently. For me it meant a lot most specially during these trying times I am in right now. I just have to hang on I told myself and that I am not alone in this struggle since I still have friends.
Here is the screenshot…
and then I saw this on one of my friends’ post with the title “Liking is not helping!”
This did not dampen my spirit a bit in relation to my post as what I view mine was all about friends caring for me in their own way. One said he just like the picture I posted though.
I couldn’t help but laugh my heart out on this. I felt a bit of pity because the dude asking the question is “technologically challenged” but then again he could just be plain stupid. At least he got the numbers right! 🙂
If you are planning to buy a 2nd hand iPhone with iO7 installed (buying of “hand me downs” is widespread here in the Philippines) , make sure the “Find my iPhone” setting is off. Go to Settings>iCloud>Find my iPhone>Off. You will not be able to notice this feature since when you are in the Home Screen you will be able to call and send messages and do everything normally on it. Your problem would arise when you update your phone or restore it as it will ask you for an apple id. And if you don’t know the right id you will not be able to use your device any longer. It would be good if you would still be able to contact the person who sold it to you and ask it from him or her.
This is an anti-theft feature of the iOS7 which is good since if your phone gets stolen, eventually the person who stole it won’t be able to use it for long if he upgrades or restore the phone. The downside to this is if you bought it and sell it too to someone later on without being aware of it, the other person would end up with an expensive paperweight. There’s no workaround for this currently since iOS jailbreakers do not tolerate piracy and theft.
Also make sure to log out the apple id from the store. Go to Settings>iTunes & Appstore>apple id>Log Out and also in Settings>iCloud>Delete Account.
I have finally decided to write a blog about life in general based in my own perspective. I will feature here my real life experiences which you may learn from and thus, avoid the same mistakes that I have done no matter how miniscule or epic it was. You just have to take the good from the bad out of these. It may be too late for me but you may be just on the road to it and can still do something about it. Don’t get me wrong, stubborn as I am, I ain’t quitting yet. Hell no! Not while I still have a beautiful wife and daughter who relies solely on me for support. It would be a struggle for me at this point, that’s one thing for sure. With the insurmountable odds I am facing right now, there is no easy way out of this. I am readying myself for the arduous journey ahead and this will be a progressive blog on my way there. It is better too late than never.
Join me on this quest and see how I will rise up from my misfortunes or fall from them. Learn from it. Make up your own path. A much better one than what I had gone into.
After all, this is me…
And this is my life.
